Résumé Le Dialogus creaturarum , recueil de 122 fables compilé au XIV e siècle par un auteur anonyme, a joui d’un succès européen, manuscrit et imprimé, qui s’est prolongé jusque vers 1550; trois versions françaises en sont connues: les deux premières prose, l’une Colard Mansion (1482), l’autre anonyme (1482 également), la plus tardive, manuscrite vers, Jean Gontier ( ca 1539–1549). Les créatures Dieu, protagonistes ces récits, y interviennent selon l’ordre Genèse: section consacrée aux poissons quatrième, comprenant dialogues 37 à 48. L’intérêt du ne réside pourtant pas dans ce qu’il nous dit sur (il fait que confirmer le caractère non homogène catégorie, indique Moyen Âge groupe malaisé appréhender, piscis étant tout animal / être vivant vit l’eau), ni contenu des enseignements impartis (conseils prudence; mises garde contre femmes ou vices: avarice, hypocrisie, superbe, colère, ingratitude; se distinguant autres), encore descriptions fournies, mais justement présence même êtres fables. L’analyse proposée ici prend compte tant aspects lexicographiques textuels l’iconographie, concourt, l’ensemble tradition, l’approche compréhension recueil.
